Method. Every outlet of both brands in each city was mapped from Google Places. For each store, resident population within 1.5 km (WorldPop 1 km grid) and local affluence within 1.5 km (Meta Relative Wealth Index) were measured, ranked into percentiles against every rival store in the same city, and blended 50/50 into a 0–100
Catchment Power score.
Notes. Catchment Power measures location quality — demand and spending power around a store — not its sales. Foot-traffic ("busy hours") was instrumented only for the QSR–Bengaluru pilot. Percentiles are computed within each city. Data is cached; nothing is re-pulled on load.
